Voice Mail
To set up your mailbox for the first time, dial ***, choose
Option 5, record your greeting and set your pass code. The
pass code is a 4 to 6 digit code of your choice (for example,
"4444" or '123456").
When you receive calls and there is no one at home, or you
choose not to answer, the call will be directed to your voice
mail. The caller will be prompted to leave a message. You
are notified of messages in your mailbox by a stutter dial
tone.
To listen to your messages from your apartment, dial *** and
follow the prompts on the voice mail.
To listen to your messages from outside your apartment, dial
your number. When the voice mail answers, dial *. It will
ask for your pass code, which will allow you to listen to
your messages.
You can change your message or pass code at any time by choosing
Option 5 while in your voice mail.
You can undelete any message that was listened to and deleted
before 2:00 AM by choosing Option 8. This will undelete all
messages listened to after 2:00 AM the previous morning. After
that, all messages are permanently deleted.
Call Waiting
When another call comes in to your phone line, you will hear
a beep or tone. If you choose to answer this call, you would
press the switch hook (hang-up button) or your phone. You
will be able to transfer back to the original caller by pressing
the switch hook again.
Disconnect Call Waiting
Press *70 to disconnect call waiting on your next call and
send incoming calls directly to voice mail. Once you hang
up from that phone call, the call waiting sound will return.
Redial
Press *69 to redial the last number you dialed. This feature
does not call back the last number that called you.
Call Forwarding
Press *72, then dial the number where you would like your
calls forwarded. Wait for confirmation tone. To deactivate
call forwarding, press *73 and wait for confirmation tone.
